Our design for ‘BowTieSprong’ a net zero carbon Energiesprong compliant retrofit system for low to mid rise apartment buildings has been recognised as one of five finalists in the sustainability category of the 2021 SECBE Construction excellence awards.
The Awards, now in their 15th year, recognise the very best of the construction and built environment industry across London and the South East. Celebrating the best companies, collaboration and projects in the region, Osborne in partnership with Bow Tie Construction are delighted to have secured this place.
Osborne and Bowtie Construction will have the opportunity to deliver a joint presentation to the judging panel in May, with the winners being announced at a virtual Awards Ceremony on 1st July 2021.
The strategic retrofit partnership between Osborne and Bowtie construction provides the perfect solution for our customers who are looking to eradicate carbon emissions from their existing housing needs. We will be tendering on the first 38 unit BowTieSprong project this year and expect to deliver many more in partnership with Osborne who have a long a successful history of planned and responsive maintenance for local authority clients.
BowTieSprong has received EU and Innovate UK funding and is being used as an internal case study within Innovate UK as an example of best practise retrofit research and development.
