Low-Energy Refurbishment of 2 Adjacent Houses
Design
Prewett-Bizley
Project Description

This project involved the interior refurbishment of two adjacent properties.

Both properties had new bathrooms fitted and were redecorated. Lofts were converted and showers and bathrooms added.

MVHR systems were installed to supply fresh filtered air in an area with a lot of traffic and pollution.

“This house is cosy and comfortable but in a natural way. Our old house was of similar scale, area and build and if you wanted to heat a room you had to blast it and the air would then be very dry and that heat would quickly leak out.”

– Toni M

“The house definitely meets expectations and exceeds them in some areas, the heat comfort is very big, the noise is much less than it was, overall very happy with it.”

– Francis M

“I’ve been very pleased with how Bow Tie have got on with the work.”

– Justin Bere

“We had a lot of people stay over Christmas, some quite elderly, who were concerned about being in a big old house in Winter and being cold and we received a lot of complements on the comfort and easy warmth. There is no higher accolade than complements on your house from your mother-in-law!”

– Toni M

“Bow Tie Construction were very professional, they did things to a very high standard and paid a lot of attention to detail. When small issues were flagged here or there they were always keen to investigate and fix them.”

– Francis M
